At LooM Life Therapy, I provide individual therapy for adults in St. Petersburg and throughout Florida via telehealth. My work is grounded in trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches designed to support deep and lasting healing, not just short-term coping.
Therapy Services I Offer
Trauma and complex PTSD can reshape your sense of self, your relationships, and your capacity to feel safe in the world.
This is the heart of my practice. Using EMDR, somatic work, and IFS, we’ll gently process what your nervous system is still holding. The goal isn’t to erase the past. It’s to help your past stop running your present.
The end of a relationship can feel destabilizing, even when the decision was mutual or necessary. Alongside grief, many people experience identity loss, anxiety about the future, and painful self-doubt.
In therapy, we create space to process the emotional impact of divorce or breakup, understand the patterns that led you here, and gently reconnect with who you are outside the relationship. This work supports healing, clarity, and a renewed sense of self-trust as you move forward.
EMDR therapy is a research-backed approach that helps the brain reprocess traumatic or distressing memories so they lose their emotional intensity. Using bilateral stimulation (such as eye movements or tapping) EMDR allows memories to become integrated rather than overwhelming.
EMDR can be effective for trauma, PTSD, complex PTSD, anxiety, phobias, and long-standing negative beliefs formed earlier in life. As an EMDR therapist, I’ll help you determine whether this approach is the right fit for your goals and readiness.
Mindfulness is the foundation in my practice. It is often incorporated throughout sessions to support nervous system regulation and present-moment awareness.
Through somatic therapy and mindful movement, we listen to what the body is holding: tension, emotion, protective responses. We will create space for release and integration. This work helps build embodied calm, emotional resilience, and self-compassion that extends beyond the therapy room
The ways we learned to connect in early relationships often continue to influence how we relate as adults. If you notice repeating dynamics, fear of closeness, or anxiety in relationships, these patterns have understandable origins.
Through attachment-informed therapy and IFS, we explore where these patterns came from and how to build healthier, more secure ways of relating— beginning with the relationship you have with yourself
If your mind won’t stop racing, your body is always on alert, or you find yourself avoiding the things that matter to you, then your nervous system is doing what it learned to do to keep you safe. They're learned survival responses. The problem is, it’s working overtime.
Using a blend of mindfulness, somatic techniques, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), we work to help your system recalibrate, reduce overwhelm, and restore a steadier sense of groundedness.
The death of someone you love changes the landscape of your life. It can feel disorienting, heavy, or unreal.
Grief doesn’t follow a timeline, and sometimes, it is not limited to death. You might be grieving a relationship, a version of yourself, a future you planned, or a sense of safety you once had.
Therapy offers a space where grief is welcomed without pressure to “move on.” We honor what’s been lost while supporting your capacity to carry it with care and compassion.
If you work in healthcare, education, first response, or another caregiving role, burnout can quietly accumulate. The emotional exhaustion, compassion fatigue, and a loss of connection to yourself.
Therapy can help you reconnect with your own needs, set boundaries that hold, and remember that you deserve the same care you give everyone else without guilt.

I am a private-pay practice, which means I’m not currently in-network with insurance providers. However, I’m happy to provide a superbill. This is a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement. I recommend calling your provider before your first session to ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits.
